G’day, I’m Adam Martin, your Independent Candidate for Braddon in the upcoming federal election of the Australian Parliament House of Representatives.
I hope to be the independent voice for Tasmania’s North-West, West Coast, & King Island in the Lower House of the Australian Parliament.
I want to represent the interests of our community with the community, and not the interests of the outdated & captured political parties or their corporate puppeteer benefactors.

BRADDON FIGHTS BACK!
Every person I speak with in the electorate of Braddon says the same thing, “I don’t feel represented anymore.”
I hear the same sentiment. The old institutions we are asked to trust no longer serve us. They tell us to keep giving them more of our hard earned money, to not ask questions and do what we are told because they know better than us. But today’s reality clearly shows they are out of touch, don’t care about us and only concerned about their interests.
Meanwhile, the cost of living keeps going up and up. For many getting a home is just a dream, finding stable housing is a constant struggle and those with a mortgage know it will only take a few bad weeks and they could be done for. The health system is broken, under resourced and under staffed. A gig economy dominates much of the way our people earn a living which is incompatible meeting life’s expenses. It appears those in power have no concern for our future environments and worthwhile opportunities for our kids becoming fewer and farther between.
Speaking with the people of Braddon has offered me the opportunity to synthesize policies using their thoughts and wishes. In other words, the people of Braddon have made their own policies, and I wish to advocate them on Braddon’s behalf.
Now is the time for our policies to come first. Not party agendas and their vested interests. Not the agendas of multinational corporate profiteers. Not the distractions of what this politician said about that politician or their tit for tat.
Pursuing our policies only matter, which are practical, aspirational and achievable.

About Adam
The fire in Adam’s belly began to rage in recent years when working as executive officer for a national peak body, only to find their culture to be corrupted, rusted on and did not represent the community. He publicly exposed their corruption due to several directors misusing tax payer’s monies. Trying for several years unsuccessfully engaging with multiple government departments and politicians asking them to listen and care about the wrong doing and realising they were all politicially compromised and comfortable sweeping it under the rug. However, recently his perserverence prevailed successfully having the case taken up by the Integrity Unit.
